and offers the following examinations:
Integration examinations
ÖIF A1
A standardised German examination which also encompasses knowledge necessary for acculturation and orientation. This examination is officially recognised as an A1 certificate in Austria. It tests language skills on level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
ÖIF A2
This level A2 German examination which also encompasses knowledge necessary for acculturation and orientation serves to fulfil the Integration Agreement (Module 1) for temporary stay (3 years).
ÖIF B1
The B1 integration examination is required to complete Module 2 of the integration agreement for permanent residence and to obtain the Austrian citizenship. It encompasses language-related contents as well as knowledge necessary for acculturation and orientation.
ÖSD IP-A2
This level A2 German examination which also encompasses knowledge necessary for acculturation and orientation serves to fulfil the Integration Agreement (Module 1) for temporary stay (3 years).
ÖSD IP-B1
The B1 integration examination is required to complete Module 2 of the integration agreement for permanent residence and to obtain the Austrian citizenship.

Examination dates
Examinations take place once a month. Since individuality and flexibility are a priority for us, we also try to adjust the examination dates to our customers’ requirements.
Signing up
Signing up for the examination ten days prior to the examination date is mandatory. For your integration examinations, you need to bring along your residence registration, your identity card and your e-card. If you then do not take the exam after all, you still have to pay the examination fee.
Exam preparation
We offer special crash courses that will specifically prepare you for your German examination. The classes are adjusted to your individual learning targets, which makes it possible for you to learn a lot in a short period of time. You will become accustomed to the testing format and can pick those modules that are most relevant for you.
